It says that his 'girlfriend' was away at college and posting pictures of her with another guy on her social media page 'the night before' the child was found dead and that might be a motive.
Now if the guy killed his son, then he needs to spend the rest of his life in prison or dead.
But law enforcement needs to find some hard evidence that the father killed the child. Basing a motive on the probability that the dad killed his own kid because a woman he knew that didn't like kids was posting pics of herself with another guy is not a motive for first degree murder. In order for that to get past a jury, the jury would need to be made up of 3 Smurfs, 2 Teletubbies, a couple of morons, 4 Minion characters and Charles Manson as the foreman.
Well, now he won't have a son OR a girlfriend! How could the dad think this wouldn't land him in prison?
Correction- he will be the girlfriend.... in prison. Provided he lives long enough, that is. Don't think his crime is going to endear him to his fellow inmates.
Both of them need to be shot in the head and thrown into the landfill....
