Closest one I think is in Las Vegas. I would pay $10 a burger for In-n-Out here!

I'll add to the list:

Friendly's (for the ice cream, not food)
Penn Station Subs
Dominic's of NY cheese steaks and sausages

I'll throw another one out there... a *good* italian place.

WHAT! Olive Garden isn't the pinnacle of good Italian food (I'm half Italian FWIW and joking obviously).

There used to be several. They're all gone from the Metroplex. You've got to drive to Waco now. It just didn't do well here.

Default How About Abuelo's?

Personally, I've been lobbying for an Abuelo's to open up a location in Frisco. That would be fantastic for them. On the Dallas North Tollway, there are plans for new restaurants at the proposed Frisco Market Center and also at Eldorado Market Place. A Rudy's Country Store and BBQ is already open there. Some of the things we've discussed might fit in there.

By the way, I wrote to Whataburger not too long ago about coming to Frisco. You won't believe this, but they don't plan to build there at this time!!

What, people in Frisco want to add MORE restaurants? Don't y'all have enough already? When is the madness going to stop What happened to driving to Restaurant Row down I-35 back in the 80's? Man, those were some good times.. I thought they had a taco cabana or bueno there; maybe it's in McKinney..

Taco Bueno in Frisco, yes. Taco Cabana in Frisco, not yet.

There's 12 in the metroplex region, closest ones to Collin County are Lewisville, Denton, Mesquite, Grapevine and one just opened in Sherman. They're not as numerous here as they are in the southeast but there's enough to clinch your appetite if you need some down home cookin'.

I wish they had some in Collin County too, but it's probably better for me that there's not any closer to where I live.

For their population base, they actually don't have enough. Some chains haven't even moved in yet. There are bulldozers in a lot of places. And the next restaurant row in Frisco? The Dallas North Tollway.
