Meteorologists are saying cloudy, but no precipitation likely. None of the ice is going to melt. It will be below freezing until Sunday afternoon.

Temps in the teens now.
Temps in the mid 20s for a high today.
More freezing precip (sleet/freezing drizzle/snow) this afternoon and evening but little accumulation.

My power went out again at 8 last night. The original estimate was back on today at 2 PM, but it was back on at 9:30 last night. Not sure what accounts for my different experience in 75080. Based on my personal experience, given the circumstances, I am not unhappy at all.

Default Driving Conditions This Morning

Good Morning! Did any of you ventured out this morning? How are driving conditions in your area?

Things aren't bad in Murphy/East Richardson. There are enough dry ruts in the road that you can get around.

Honestly the trees are the real issue over here, not the roads.

Be kind to your Letter Carriers. Not only did they venture out this morning....and yesterday morning.....they also venture out during the day and then have to drive home.

Unless you have 4wd and a 4-lo setting, I wouldn't go out. Saw lots of stuck cars yesterday and today. The only vehicles I'm seeing having a decent time of it are Jeeps and 4wd trucks.

AWD is really nice in these conditions as well but I wouldn't risk going out unless it was an emergency.
