Not support him? I wonder how all the wingnuts here at cd who have been trying to rationalize Iott's fascination with Nazism feel about that?
This is much ado about nothing. Leftists with nothing else to go on spun it into something bigger than it is, and Cantor is just a professional politician distancing himself from it for his own benefit.
I can't wait till someone finds out some dem candidate somewhere is a Confederate re-enactor or even a WWII German re-enactor...
Oh Upton I see you're still at it. Ya gotta admit, the Nazi's had kickazz uniforms. But lets be honest, you disgusting liberals most resemble the Nazi's. The hilarious thing about it is, you don't even realize it. The Conservatives are so far removed from the Nazi party it's not comparable whatsoever but you touchy feely lefty types haven't a clue because as much as you'd like to think you're intellectually superior, you're in fact quite stupid which has been proven time and time again.
The definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over hoping for a different result. Ergo Liberals.
I can tell most of you are urban people without a clue and that includes Eric Cantor (R) and Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D) who made fools of themselves on Fox News Sunday without Bret Baier knowing enough himself to tell them they were acting like uninformed jerks.
I also can tell most of you aren't from the South where history re-enactments are commonplace. My own town does WWII re-enactments every year at our annual festival and in order to do that, half the re-enactors have to play German soldiers. There are also American soldiers, French civilians, etc. It's no different than other living history or re-enactment groups in the area that do the French and Indian War, Civil War, etc., where you have to play "the other side" and the town civilians in order to do the re-enactment. We also have pre-American Revolutionary War "garrison weekends" in the area where people play British soldiers and other villagers who live inside a fort.
Waffen SS were NOT German Army infantry, maam.
Any WWII re-enactments with Waffen SS troops, should include boxcars, barbed wire, and ovens.
I just can't imagine why Cantor and Wasserman, would be upset, can you?
