When you read such comments, it gives you an insight into how liberals/leftists/progressives think on a rudimentary emotional basis, not an informed logical one.

I don't get my news from wacky media - not from Al-Jazeera or the The Guardian.
The US House and US Senate held Hearings for 8 years on Fracking - 8 years of Leftists that were desperate to stop Fracking and even with all of those Hearings and all of those Leftists Leaders - all the Hair on Fire and the Eco-Hysteria ........

There was NEVER a shred of proof that Fracking causes harm.

Land under my house is Fracked ..... I'll be sure and get back to you ASAP if I have an Earthquake hit or DIE from my tap water ..... DEAL?

And NO ...... I won't vote for Beto and he won't be elected.
I will continue to live in Texas with no Income Tax, my Guns, Right to Work Laws and ICE to help with the Illegal Aliens flooding my State ...... all of those things that the Great Beto wants to take away from Texas.

Lol.

Let's look at some numbers:

2010: Total of 40 tremors in Oklahoma
2015: 900 earthquakes magnitude 3 or above in that same Oklahoma

Of course it is just a coincidence

You guys should not have pizzed off all the R's during the Kavanaugh hearings. You might have stood a chance.
Are you sure? I thought his scholarly expertise was mostly in Dr. Seuss' stuff..

Well Medicare for all would be significantly cheaper overall solution than the current system, so I'm not sure it would bankrupt the US. On the other hand the unpaid for tax cuts that blew the deficit combined with humongous increase in military spending that was excessively large to begin with are a different story.

and I am one that is glad I don't live in Texas anymore. I may not like Ted, but I would have to vote for him. I would not trust Beto to take care of my dog from what I have read and heard about him. As for Trump being a liar, show me a politician that always tells the truth> In fact show me a person that always tells the truth. I can't figure out what he has lied about to be honest? I think this has just become a convenient word to be used when someone can't think of anything else to say about someone who is running or is an elected official. this goes for both sides.

Live in CA and you would know what real earthquakes are like. Even a 3 isn't going to uproot the area. How about tornadoes when are liberals going to start blaming them on fricking or fracking?

i call understand anyone's concerns about military spending. I am a firm supporter of our military, coming from a long line of retire military personal, but I do have to wonder why we are still in some regions in the world that really don't even want us there. Now, as for medicare for all: ONG, do your home work, it would cost most people thousands of dollars annually than they are spending right now. Do you have any clue how little some families spend annually on medical bills or just how much it would cost the government if everyone was on a socialized plan? Do you have any idea the taxes on such a play? remember, people receiving medicare now, paid into it for decades before collecting a penny. Some for 50 years.

Beto, he is the one with an actual criminal arrest record, right?

We spend (much) more than any other country in the world on HC per capita. What matters is the total. Somebody is paying, either the insured, or the employer, or the tax payer. If the employer covers private insurance premium (or a portion of), it is a part of the total compensation, that's all.

For the 1 fact alone that Beto is against fracking-I say please vote for him!

Our beautiful Texas and our drinking water is at stake. Fracking causes earthquakes and potentially sinkholes if they are drilling near water aquifers.

Scientific article on fracking. https://sciencing.com/what-is-the-re...-13400292.html

From that article “In operations where mining activities removes gas or oil through fracking, much of the wastewater is inserted back into the same area without causing earthquakes or sinkholes. But in areas where wastewater wells are drilled to receive the byproducts of these mining operations, these fluids are inserted into areas never before drilled, causing an increase in subterranean pressure that often lead to human-induced earthquakes.”

The original meaning of conservative is a very positive word that conveys conservation, prudence and carefulness. I think it is fair to return to those values. Liberals and conservatives both have love of “home” and the environment they live in-please join me in voting for Beto.

Beto’s score card for Conservation voting Beto O'Rourke | League of Conservation Voters Scorecard

Maybe Cruz’s pro-fracking stance is partly based on his anti-clean water stance? https://www.lcv.org/article/ted-cruz...-water-issues/
If we don’t have clean water-we are all going to die. Cruz is not for us.
I am glad we do not have fracking here in New York.

Having said that, whether to allow fracking or not is an internal TEXAS STATE issue, while Ted Cruz is your Senator in Washington. Two different levels of government.

Because of his Presidential run, Cruz is now a high profile Senator, which gives him more influence and the ability to bargain for Texas. Not only that, but since the Republicans are likely to maintain control of the Senate and the President is a Republican, Cruz is more likely to be able to bring home the bacon back to Texas. And Texas is now getting Federal help for the Houston area as part of the recovery plan for Hurricane Harvey.

So I recommend you vote for Ted Cruz.

Texas misses you, too.

No doubt Arkansas is an upgrade for you.
