I'm totally with you on this.

Maybe she IS the perfect veep pick for McCain whose current mantra is "Country First".

(btw - it's her daughter Bristol who is pg)
Thanks for correcting me on that. I can't keep up with the names, lol! I think Sarah will get pregnant again.

Few women can "have it all" and most of us need to make some tradeoffs between career and family-building in order to do either one successfully.

I already said that I felt conflicted about Gov Palin accepting a VP slot at this very difficult time in her family's life. However, she does have a lot of extended family support and local community support, and her husband seems to be her support-role player. This doesn't work often, but it may work well for the Palins.

Anyway, yes, the government school curricula is a waste of time. It's full of useless fluff and beureaucratic nonsense.

I wish you'd quit quoting me when your responses

1. have nothing to do with what I said and you don't address anything in my posts

2. believe women have "limitations"

3. have the Fascist view that education is a bad thing.

I'm only afraid of Sarah Palin when she is hunting... remember Dick Cheney.

Pathetic pick. She probably didn't even know herself that the little one was preggers. How ironic.

Sunchime you are the one that has been worried. Your old man seems to be slipping with his judgement. Who in the right mind would have meet a person ONE time, talked on the phone with them ONCE, and then decide that they are the pick for the VP. He's playing his base like a fiddle.

One more time:

If Gov Palin did not teach her daughter right from wrong or moral values, neither did Barry's (bank VP) typical white woman granny.

Glad this tickled you. The more you learn about Gov Palin and how she is into fiscal reform should have you hysterical!

But, I guess you are impressed that Barry "runs" his campaing...which according to him is much more impressive than being the Mayor of "Wasilly".

Mr. Obama is a fool and it is starting to show. Wonder if his CAMPAIGN MGR agrees that Barry is running that particular show?

But, by all means....keep on laughing.

Is her husband going to quit his 2 jobs? Most women I know that have infants can barely find time to take a shower and read a magazine. If she is so family oriented, she's in for a big surprise. Biden's kids are grown and Michele Obama won't be working. Plus she doesn't have a special needs infant, or an infant, for that matter. I think Sarah has lost it. She's only 44. She should remain the governor and pursue her career later in life when her kids are grown. Is she going to take time off to be with Willow when she has the baby? Who is going to tend to Tig? The entire thing blows my mind. Maybe she'll have Willow watch Tig and her new baby? Way too much baggage.
While I agree that Sara is sexually irresponsible she DOES have a spouse and like any other politician that SPOUSE should take over caring for the children.

However, Palin has shown total irresponsibility in her sex life...5 is way more than enough...how many more Downe's Syndrome babies is she planning on dumping on someone else?

Country first???
NO, with Palin it's SARA first!

As to nanny's....ask sunshinechick.....she thinks nannies are elitist

The Repubs want to eliminate all forms of gov't assistance so this family is in dire straits; particularly if the economy keeps going where it's headed under McSame. Now if you're suggesting that a person taking care of another person is expected to work two jobs (if 3 people are in the family then 3 jobs etc,) then tell me where all of these extra jobs will be created to support this dynamic. It's not a matter of laziness for all of these folks but opportunity for several of them.

Added. Most of these girls will not have the financial support of the dads so they are the sole provider. Since when is working a full time job and trying to support a baby on your own being lazy.
You poor libs. Always looking to the govt to take care of you.

Gov Palin's daughter is going to marry the father of the baby. They will work. Pls let us know if you hear of them going on any govt dole.

People make mistakes, but accepting responsibility counts for a lot.

It will be a good day in this country where these stupid socialist nanny state programs are ended.

Oh, boo hoo....Guess what? You have a child: IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. The govt should only step in for the welfare of the child, and it should be rare. Welfare to women and dependent children was begun to assist the "few", not every lazy, loser in the country.

The man is no where around financially or emotionally. My, bad CHOICE on the mothers part. Thes women will not be "forced" to do anything.

Personal responsibility. It's coming back....and Gov Palin will show us how.
