Oh brother. They're just BOOBS! EVERYONE has them!
LOL this argument always cracks me up. Everyone has buttocks too which are devoid of nipples. Maybe we should start making a show of butts, too After all, just like breasts they have cleavage. Oh wait people already show their butts from time to time but those are "gross."
Bras and other undergarments were invented by women all across the world over thousands of years. The oldest was found in India, and they date back to the Middle Ages in Europe. The idea of women wearing undergarments is NOT a new one.
It's only because of the modernization of undergarments, which culminated to the commercialization and companies headed by men that is causing people these days to question wearing bras. Bras were around for a long, long time well before women linked to to the "evils of patriarchy" but it's the sex sells culture that people don't like.
I really don't care if women choose not to wear bras, but keep in mind the environment you are in, the people you are around and the work you do. It's not sensible to go without a bra if you have large breasts with big nipples and a tendency to bounce. If yours tend to stay put and you don't deal with the fiasco known as nipping out, you can probably get away with it. I am sometimes around teenage boys and there is NO WAY in hell I am going braless around them. It wouldn't matter how many layers I wore-- can we say jiggle?

Man boobs are hardly the same. Unless you are are a woman bigger than an A cup, you just don't get it.
Well, I am a woman. I am far larger than an A cup. Personally, I think bras are nothing more than a money maker for businesses. Corsets used to be trendy for women to wear and many died wearing them. No thanks. I'd much rather the ladies be free to roam.

Yes, everyone has a rear end. And? What's the big deal? Why are they gross? Sure I am not interested in checking out a man or a woman looks like Big Foot, but chances are pretty good that someone else does.
I hate to ruin this for everyone who thinks wearing a bra means no one notices you have breasts. Guess what. People still look! Nipples can still be seen as well. Bras don't fool anyone.
False or not I prefer a bra in public and when we have guests in our home otherwise the bra stays in the drawer.
I don't wear shoes unless I'm in public either though, does that mean my feet are going to sag sooner?

Of course people are aware breasts exist. I'm not about policing people's minds or their eyes. But I'm not about to give up a well-fitting bra just because some people think I should, or believe bras are a money-maker (so is porn, but you won't see anyone giving that up anytime soon). However, I do like my modesty and to look nice in clothes so I'd rather have people looking at me or my clothes rather than a nipple sticking out. There's a difference between having them roam completely free where they are VERY noticeable, and subtlety.
