Thank you.. lol.. I started shaving my head in my 20s (I'm now 40) and it only takes once getting the top of your head sunburned.. I wear a hat 100% of the time now. The only thing worse than the top of your head being sunburned, I would assume, would be parts that nudists might get sunburned.
Add to that, the fact that I can get and have been sunburned on an overcast day.
I constantly wear tennis shoes. Just more comfortable.. I do wear black tennis shoes, however.. So, unless you're looking, probably wouldn't notice.
Then why don't you just put sunscreen on your head?
And if you think no one notices you are wearing black tennis shoes, you're kidding yourself.
Women notice how men look and dress, and the vast majority of us who are over 30 think guys who still dress like they're 21 - baseball caps included - look ridiculous.

Based upon who's vote? You and your friends? I wouldn't want to be associated with this "vast majority". I'll take the minority any day who aren't concerned about such trivial things.

I'm 32, and wear about half and half. To go out with the wife on a Saturday afternoon, sometimes I'll wear a nice button up shirt, some slacks, and Sperry boat shoes (i have a ton of sperrys )
other times I'll wear fancy, expensive, extremely busy nike sneakers with jeans a t-shirt.
Guess I don't fit in a particular box.
Just trying to make the point that, everybody is their own person. everybody dresses however they want, and that's just fine with me. wearing a tuxedo to the movies or shorts and a tank top to a $300 dinner, people are who they are. I know this post was made to start a general conversation and in no way am I trying to be a smart alec with the OP. But the way others dress doesn't bother me one bit.

I don't think it is wrong. I think people can wear whatever they want as long as they are comfortable in it ( and does not violate public decency rules)
Who wear white sneakers anyway unless you are from small town?
I am 29 and I wear high top some times - but not white.
And yes I wear them to work. And alot of my fellow engineers also wear them to work.
I also wear Sperry as well as Cole Haan and Allen Edmonds wing tips.
So does it mean I look immature some times and mature at some other times?
Is it me or do threads like this make the reader picture a group of youngsters sitting in a mall or coffee shop watching everyone walking through the doors and analyzing/laughing at them?
Oh no. I think (as probably does many others here) you are referring to black urban types am I right? Sure I am. You don't like the "hip hop style"?
Wearing hats backwards has always been more of a white guy thing I think. With hip hop style the hat is more cocked to the side. It's the subtle differences. lol
Most people wear "gym shoes" all the time at least where I live unless going to work (in some cases) or to some formal event. I also see people of all ages wearing t-shirts etc. too. I don't think t-shirts, gym shoes is an age thing.
