Can one still purchase "Creapers". You know... those suede pointy-toed shoes that always looked a little big and were usually two-toned. I recently went to my parent's house only to discover that mine were all given to the Goodwill.

She is a plus sized pin up model and very much an advocate of healthy women. She usually can advise a place to go that will be able to accomodate your size. Also, that site I posted before, WHirling Turban, does things made to order. I'm sure they'd be able to tailor something to your measurements. And a great corset or waist cinter will give you that hourglass shape no matter your size.
Well thankfully and by some MIRACLE I started out with that shape and have managed to retain it no matter what size I "climb" to. LOL. That's why I love the styles... they work well even with a larger-yet-curvy figure.

My son (16) LOVES THOSE (the ones with a stacked/platform sole) because he has a silly idea that he is short. I know Hot Topic has them, eBay has them. Hmmm not sure where else (aside from what's already been mentioned here).
Rockabilly girls are hot! I would LOVE to dress like that (and maybe I do it in a very mild form..), but it would be SO out of place where I live in the rural wilds of Maine.. I can dream, though..

Don't let that stop you! I live in rural Tennessee and I go to the store in my cuffed jeans and w/ my hair up in bandana. I also wear my circle skirts to my congregation meetings and out to dinner. I have betty page bangs too! So you can imagine the looks I get. But even though people do stare (some of them ask me what I'm so 'dressed up' for?), I've discovered that the majority of those stares are admiring ones. Older men are lavish w/ their praise and most women will ask where I got my purse or shoes. I don't leave my house planning to be a conversation piece, but hey-I feel like a lady. And my husband is a fan.

I can only imagine the looks you in our lovely state. And yet, the mullet rarely draws a stare. LOL
Mullets are much worse than Crocs!
I don't wear Crocs, but I love them for my boys.
