Just got back from the grocery - tonight am making hubby's favorite-fried pork chops (in electric skillet - dredged in flour and browned, then add a bit of water and let them simmer slowly-yum!!), fried potatoes with onions, peas, and whole wheat rolls. Also have fresh berries and angel food cake with cool whip if he wants it. He requested beef barley soup for the weekend and since it looks like more rain and cool temps here tomorrow, I will make that on Friday. We'll have enough for the weekend along with sandwiches. Yup, I'm a stay at home housewife - can you tell!!!!

Found a little wedge of Roquefort on special at the local market and decided on a 'grazing' dinner, the cheese, roasted red peppers, assorted olives, sliced roasted chicken breast I had in the fridge, a nice crusty baguette, a boomer of a Zinfandel, and dark chocolate for dessert.
