Default The Agenda - Oct 26 through Nov 1

This week at my very humble abode, I'll be putting together a few good things. Among my plans are Shake-N-Bake pork chops with steamed veggies, steak with a baked potato and creamed spinach on the side, and maybe some pasta with meatballs. And right now, as I write this, I've got a Dutch apple crumb pie in the oven baking. If, later in the week, I bring home any surprises from, say, Market Street, I'll be sure to let you know.

In the meantime, have a wonderful week of good food and good fun, and bon appetit!

It's been a day. We left way before the sun went to work and have just now arrived home and I've caught up on this one thread. My dinner tonight is what is leftover in my tummy from the Dinner on the Grounds at the little country church my grand parents help start early 20th century. Any way it was one giant pot luck and I did indulged as planned. A part of a dip of this and then that and I had a royal feast. Just what you would expect from the many dozens of those rural southern master cooks. So for my night time snack I'm having a brownie covered with real whipped cream. This was a tune up for the annual family reunion in 2 weeks. One of the dishes on the table was some old fashioned cooked cabbage. I had a healthy dip of that too. I will be turning in early as I'm beat with 8 hours of the round trip drive time. I do see everyone is having a lot of good eats on here today. Lacey keeping fingers crossed for ya. SKBS get busy on the drama novel. You never know it may make the best sellers list.... Looking for some big heads of cabbage. I'm psyched up now for cabbage rolls this week.
