We are having "garbage plates" Garbage Plate, History of Garbage Plate, Nick Tahou Hots

Should be a fun time!
Highlands I would laugh my butt off it is ended up I knew your Fpt crew as that is my hometown... LOL.... Hubby is watching the game as I type... not my thing personally....

Making pasta- I had the last of the tomatoes to use up from my parents garden- they are heading out of town and the stash had to be used!!! Some brocolli, garlic, onion, EVOO, Chicken, pepper, salt.... some other stuff I must have forgotten about... I am the dump it in there queen.... So that is simmering on the stove.... Maybe the kids will eat it... maybe they won't... if not I will just have to put butter on their noodles and call that dinner for them... Long day... Drama continued through the day- I think I might begin a new career of Soap Opera Script Writer... or something of the like... Maybe Family Comedy.... I don't know but I am thinking....

AFternoon all, won't be on long, tonight for dinner along with the last three nights, chicken soup. Darling youngest son gave everyone in the house his cold. Oh joy. Lots of sniffling and sneezing going on here. Hope everyone stays well.

NMS, it started out at 39 degrees this morning and it has actually warmed up to about 70!! I can handle this......but they are talking 20's overnight by Tuesday and low 50's during the day!!!!

Last year I was wearing shorts for Thanksgiving and for Christmas lunch, DH and I packed a picnic and went to the beach!! Guess I better go shopping for some warmer clothes....!!

I know that from Key West it took us about 24 hours of driving time to get here, so depending on how far up the coast you are, you might be here by dinner time TOMORROW night!!! LOL
