Good morning all & Happy Birthday to Molochai!

Tonight for dinner we will probably have grilled ham and cheese, if I can stomach the thought of making those with no tomatoes in the house & no claussen pickle to nestle tenderly alongside my sandwich.

Hmm.. perhaps a lunchtime excursion to Braum's mini market is in order, that will save my day!

Of course, while I'm there I'll probably see a beautiful steak or something that changes my dinnertime plans.

Tonight I have marinating right now the baby backs with Lacey's suggestion of BBQ sauce with jelly and I will cook on low and slow all afternoon.

I am also going to start a batch of spicy bread pudding. I have a lot of bread leftover for some reason and I'll put it to good use. I've already let my son know to come on over and get some. His favorite.

For all the wonderful cooks out there I have a question....

I do not have any Amaretto to soak the raisins in (as I drank it all) oooops for the bread pudding but what about Kahlua or Grand Marnier???

You mean me, I presume?

I don't see why you couldn't use either of those, for personal preference I'd go with kahlua.

Could you use rum or bourbon? I always thought that was what you put on bread pudding? By the by can you send me that recipe? I have some Amaretto needing a good use as I am out of sour mix.

Oh I forgot dinner tonight I believe is going to be some sorta comfort food. I am leaning toward pot pie but it may end up being soup, maybe minestrone or lentil soup. Need to fill up my freezer with some leftovers.

Crazy-Grand Marnier-I've used that and it's wonderful.

I have my fork and extra napkins for the ribs-what time?
