Good morning all.

I feel good this morning, perhaps it is last night's taco hangover.

I don't know what's for dinner tonight! Either out for happy hour or shopping to Sprout's. If we go to the store I will pick up something from their ready-made section, or maybe some bratwurst.

I have talked with cyn so I can now let something out of the bag to all my foodie friends. The timing just wasn't right before now but she said to share it with ya all...........................no I am not pregnant.

Today marks 1 month I have not smoked in 30 years. I told cyn it is driving me crazy the yucky smell all over my house. Yesterday my ex and oldest were reeking of it too. Doesn't make me want one but I have apologized to my kids and friends for exposing them to the smell.

MTH it was hard not telling you yesterday I am only a week behind you!

See what cyn got started ya all!!! You all were part of my decision reading how you were supporting cyn so pat yourselves on the backs OK?

Supper? No idea yet.
I am soooooo proud of you and cyn and me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tonight for dinner? No idea yet. Mom leaves tonight so dinner will be whatever we throw together after we get back from the airport.

Right now I am blanching brussel sprouts to throw in the freezer and hubby is supposed to be bringing home asparagus so I can freeze that too.

For those that are interested Kroger has it here in Houston area for 94cents a pound. I hope he picks up a bunch so I can blanch it and freeze it too.

Hope everyone has a great day.

skbs it was hard not sharing on this thread but it was super duper hard not telling you in DMs or emails. Then in another thread about a week ago I posted something about smoking outside in freezing weather and MWBW sent me a comment about knowing one day I would quit. That was hard not to tell her then too. But I wanted cyn to be the first to know in our foodie family since she got the ball rolling.

Good morning! It's a beautiful sunny, but cold day. Where's spring??

Anyhoo, I have no clue what I will be making. DH wants something light. I'll probably wait until he gets home and discuss it with him. It drives me crazy when he asks for something light to eat. Everything I mention he says no to. So, I'll just wait for him and see what he's in the mood for.

Have a great day!

Jaxson, MTH, Cyn -- way to go!! That must've been so hard to keep quiet about Jax!!

Dinner tonight is something with split chicken breasts. Maybe baked with some rice and a veggie. Off to clean the house and give the dog a well-needed bath after pet sitting duties are finally over!

I am so excited that we have so many non-smokers now. YAY!!

Good Afternoon all.
Tonight I am just simmering my pork cutlets in the stewed tomato sauce and serving over angel hair.

Someone just sent me this link and it looks so good for an Easter dessert. Hopefully it comes through.
