Hey all just sent my mother off to the airport. Tonight for dinner....something with asparagus. I managed to clean out kroger's. I got 9 pds for about 10 dollars. Woo Hoo. It is all blanched and in the freezer. I am thinking pasta in a cream sauce with the asparagus and maybe some shrimp.

Hope all of you have a great evening.

Didn't read all the previous posts on what's happening today but good for you all who are on the road to be "non-smokers" Hope everyone else is having a good day too.

I have chicken soup simmering and little meatballs in the oven. Even though it's 80 degrees here I feel like soup

Hi all! I finally cooked dinner! I stocked the refrigerator full of groceries so let's hope that I can cook all the produce before it goes bad!

I saw some gorgeous scallops at the market today. I sauteed them in olive oil and butter. I boiled up some fettuccine and sauteed some parsley, garlic and mushrooms with olive oil, butter and deglazed it with some white wine.

Yum-o if I should say so myself

Happy dinner everyone!

Your dinner sounds terrific, George.

We went to Ruby Tuesday's with friends. I had the lobster ravioli in parmesan sauce. mmmmmm

I need to say thanks to younglisa for her threads on free stuff. We got 2 dinners free, thanks to her link to Ruby Tuesday. And it was delicious!

Hi all,

It's been a very long and exhausting day. Too tired right now to catch up. Congrats to all the non smokers. Yeah for us. This October will be 10 years for me.

Kimba- The baby is beautiful. Congratulations.

DH and I worked so hard outside today that we missed lunch which means a good dinner. Hubby had pancakes with butter and syrup. I had a Boca burger with fried onions and a pickle on a roll. Yummy.

Night all. Too tired to chat.
