The ribs will go on the smoker in about an hour. I think I am serving grilled veggies and a sweet potato with the ribs. They are country ribs, not our favorite, but were on sale for .99 a lb. I could not resist. The problem, I bought them on Wed and forgot to divide them for freezing, so now we have to cook the whle package. Anyone want to come for dinner?
Tonight we will have fresh Rainbow trout with little potatoes and whipped horseradish. For dessert we will have vanilla pudding with home made Raspberry liqueur.
A friend gifted us with some beautiful ribeyes and fresh trout that my husband will throw on the grill tonight. I'm making a pile of onion rings and coleslaw and checking out World Market's wine sale.
I'm not sure...my daughter is going to be at Fanime convention and won't be eating at home, and Mr. Goldy is going to visit his father tonight. So it's just me at home for dinner. I'm going out for lunch today so I will probably just have a protein shake for dinner or perhaps a small salad. Not planning to be too hungry.
Our first attempt at making pizza with real pizza dough. (okay, I'm gonna buy it at the store, but we're going to roll it out for thin crust style) We just got the pizza stone and it's time to try it out.
Bottled Marinara sauce (but I doctor it up with extra garlic and some fresh oregano from the garden)
Toppings:
Fresh basil from the herb garden
Hot italian sausage
Sweet or purple Onions
Maybe some mushrooms
Oh yeah, some mozzarella cheese!
Rice noodles with stir fried vegetables and spicy black bean sauce. Lychee coconut sorbet for dessert.
