Meatloaf, makes red potatoes and creamed spinach. Can't get more comforting than that for Americans lol. Perfect for the storm Leon!
Edited to add that I changed it. Found a crock pot recipe for scalloped potatoes. Going to try that instead. And instead of creamed spinach, we are having steamed broccoli with a balsamic vinaigrette.

Tonight we have scrambled egg curry with chapatis, yogurt, chili pickle and lassi. For dessert a kiwi, orange and grapefruit salad with roasted almonds, vanilla sugar, lemon juice and a shot of Cointreau.
I fry onion, garlic and ginger first til brown, add turmeric, coriander and curry powder, fresh green chili, fresh cilantro leaves, salt and tomato paste and last I add the scrambled eggs and mix gently til cooked.
I also am prepping for tomorrow's Korean inspired dinner. Marinating the beef for bulgogi. If I don't find the kimichi fried rice at reader notes, I will make bimibap. I also am attempting a rice cake. I got all the recipes from maangchi.com
All this because my oldest discovered and loves k pop...Lol
My husband's brother is coming over for dinner to introduce us to his fiancé, so I wanted to make something easy but kind of special:
I have Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken in my slow cooker, and I'll also have jumbo shrimp in a garlic sauce (made with butter, sherry, scallions and garlic),
Cheese, Tomato and Broccoli Fettucine and for dessert banana split cake (I should add some breath mints for all of that garlic)
