Invited to dinner at a friends' house. All I know about the menu is that there is pork in the slow cooker.

Experimenting for tonight's dinner: Crockpot beef stew.

My vegetables and herbs will include parsnips, potatoes, carrots, celery, yellow squash, bell pepper, stewed tomatoes, onion, garlic, basil, thyme, parsley, oregano and bay leaves.

It is already smelling mighty delicious!

3 light whole wheat slices of bread with healthy margarine and strawberry jam, a low-fat mango flavored Greek yogurt and a large mug of organic chamomile mint lemon tea with a teaspoon of sugar.

A little chilly here today so I made a pot of navy bean soup. Buttered challah with it and sweet iced tea to drink.

Sorry Jaxson...It's 2 cups of water. so the last part would be 1 1/2 cups. I make my biscuits bigger, so I yield about 6.

Key west spicy chicken served along side of ice berg wedge and for desert guava shells with cream cheese slices.

Chicken recipe is here and when the diet is done will made them in quesadillas.
