We finally got our buffalo wings last night, so now it is on to better things. Actually they were very good, I love them. I am doing Chinese tonight: shrimp fried rice, snow peas and pot stickers.

Dug out one of the bags of Posole Rojo from the deep freezer. Had tortillas, pickled onions, avocado, cilantro and hot sauce to go with.

We should have the pizza that plans for last night got scuttled because I wanted something else. Hawaiian pizza with extra full strength mozzarella plus onions and mushrooms.

Tonight we are having garlic butter steak bites and mushrooms over linguine, spicy cabbage and caramel-pecan brownies for dessert.

It's currently snowing so I'm thinking it will be a comforting vegetarian korma.

I cook it in butter with garlic, onions, red pepper flakes, and a diced chili pepper.

It's gonna be hot & spicy chicken soup... one of those dried Japanese soup bowls I grabbed during my travels. Just add hot water filtered through the espresso machine & walla... hot chemicals & spice with a hint of java bean, oh boy! Will be an interesting dinner, as I have no utensils. I'm sure I can fashion a spoon out of cardboard or use coffee stirers as chopsticks... done it before.

Since I'm nursing a 2-day headache, it's 34-degrees, been snowing big flakes for a couple of hours & they're sticking (Noooooooo! Not in early October!)... I'm not going outdoors for anything. All I have are light yoga pants, sneakers & tees to wear... slipped & almost fell in a puddle a few times yesterday... can't imagine what walking in sneakers will be like on snow. When I left IN, it was almost 90, so my boots & warmer clothing, of course, are packed in the bottom of the roof-filled trunk of my car.

Guess I'm going to have to scrape off the windshield with my underwire bra... will be nice to be moved into an apt tomorrow so I can dig out the wool socks & long sleeved anything.
