Oh and...it looks like they moved George's thread AGAIN and it's now merged with Northwood's Prayer thread.

There's a very special lady on this thread who has been so very kind to send me recipes for Mr. L and Crohn's-that's TurtleMom and I cannot thank her enough!
Yes I have been moved and absorbed Oh well, everyone gets the spirit of the thread and I didn't realize that there was already one that was very similar. I certainly didn't want to intrude.
Turtle, how sweet of you to send the recipes.

Congratulations indeed I don't even like to drive that distance less than run it
DH is cooking brunch for me, using the leftover cream cheese and asparagus for omelettes....... will be having leftovers from yesterday.
Too tired to even think about a grocery list, think I am just gonna chill out today, hope everyone has a great day!
Yep it was! I spiced it up w/onion and garlic powders, dash cayenne, couple dashes Tabasco, pepper-yum with crispy home fries and biscuits. Wasn't my usual yogurt n fruit breakfast-but will skip lunch!
We are having another couple over and we'll have: grilled chicken breasts topped with basil pesto, fresh mozz, and tomatoes; grilled squash and zucchini; roasted asparagus, and grilled garlic and olive oil bread.
skbs, wonderful news about Diva, give her a hug from me and Chatter too!
george, I haven't been here too much and didn't see your post. Is everything ok?
lacey, sending you hugs as well.
Dinner tonight is a very time consuming prep of fried shrimp cakes topped with an emulsion of shrimp shells, Courvoisier Cognac, heavy cream, vegetables sauteed and put through a sieve to make the sauce, butter whisked in at the end. Wild rice & steamed asparagus, and that will be it. Double choc. cake later this evening (no I didn't bake it).
I hope everyone has a wonderful evening and enjoy your dinners. I will check in after dinner. kelsie
