Sounds like you aren't destitute enough to enact economy moves that many Americans have had to. Regarding the one who won't give up the DVR to skip commercials: they are an unappreciated art form. I sometimes use Youtube to watch certain commercials.

Of the things I've listed, the one one that might actually make a dent in your budget is getting rid of the car.. and that would only work if you live close enough to work to walk there. For people who work at minimum wage jobs, that might work but for people with a career, it's not likely except in NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, and parts of Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, etc.
No health insurance only works if you're lucky.
Personally, I'd rather get rid of the house/apartment and live in my car before I'd consider clipping coupons, reusing zip locks, etc. The savings from doing these frivolous things are easily exceeded simply by downsizing the housing.
I'm laughing here -- you people call yourselves frugal?
I DO go without a/c and freeze in the winter. I'm not paying over $100 a month in utilities (the exception is enough a/c in summer so cat doesn't suffocate)
I DO reuse my plastic bags
I DO shop in second hand shops -- but I won't buy second hand shoes or undergarments -- ewwww
I DO go without internet at home -- my boss bought me with an ipad and pays for 3G coverage
I won't skimp on my pet's food. She eats a home cooked diet and has the choicest cuts of meat
I won't skimp on car maintenance -- I take care of my things so they last a long time
I won't do without a car. There is no public transportation where I live and work and it's a long walk

I won't pay to go to a sporting event.
I won't pay to go to a concert.
I won't worship any human being, celebrity, president, sport stars. I do admire them, they ain't gonna get rich off of me.
I won't buy any additional warranties.
I won't pay for private school for my kids.
I won't go to any restaurants that need to wait more than 15 minutes. Time is money.
I won't buy designer crap. Do you know LV's CEO is top 10 richest guy in the world? He ain't going to get a penny off of me.
I won't split dinner bills with my family.
When you have to live on one income with no raise and rising prices, you learn to cut corners and do without whatever you can.
It sounds like you should take the time you spend rewashing plastic bags and spend that time building the skills to get a new job.
And cheap and frugal are very different things.
