That video was amazing. I was thinking the post office was the best option originally but I’m sold on Lincoln Yards now. It’s just an exceptional site, and an exceptional developer. The stadium is a little much though, I must say.
I'm not sure why you keep harping on this point when this is simply not true about the downtown areas of Chicago and Philly. You may not know this as a Canadian, but in many U.S. cities, a lot of crime tends to be concentrated in certain neighborhoods or parts of town and not spread equally throughout the city.
I do know that crime in very concentrated in certain US cities like Chicago. What you don't seem to understand as an American is that this is also true in low crime cities like Toronto and Montreal.
Speaking of Toronto and Montreal................a new report stated that the 4 top AI cities in the world are #4 Toronto, #3 Seattle, #2 Montreal, and #1 SF.
You seem to think you know it's NOT going to NOVA. It will not go to Chicago or Atlanta. Just lots of fanboys pumping their dream. Won't happen. I believe it will go to Nova, Dallas, or remote chance Austin. Dallas has opened its checkbook.

What makes you such an expert on where Amazon wants to relocate? You seem to be just as big of a fanboy as the rest whose opinions need to be taken with a large grain of salt. Maybe throw in some analysis with your conclusions and you’ll be taken more seriously.
This list of best choices are topped by the 4 areas Amazon wishes other cities have flights to...
1 New York
2 San Francisco
3 Seattle
4 Washington DC
5 San Jose
6 Northern VA
Location: That star on your map in the middle of the East Coast, DMV

It also has the best public transit of all the other leading sprawled out or sunbelt like metros better than SoCal, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Austin etc. With direct access to Dulles Int'l and Reagan via Metro. I'd say it should still be recognized as a leader.
And btw LA is the epitome of what you said, NOVA probably 2nd or 3rd.
That report in Geekwire is useless without including Montreal and Toronto who are strong contenders. Funny how earlier Geekwire itself said that Toronto was the top pic.
