Can they really help themselves though? Even though Mexico is majority of indigenous blood, Whiter complexion Mexicans oppress the brown. For example on TV, Mexican telenovelas (Soap operas) are mainly a cast of whiter (Caucasian Spaniard) roles having blonde hair. While the browner skin are left with the role of maid, trash picker or criminal. They are fed this life plan from birth.

Have a look at Mexican Business leaders, they are Caucasians. Politicians? Caucasians.

Their only chance is to escape, Mexico's leaders don't want to help them either.

No it is not fair that US gets this burden, I apologize that some of my blood line have taken advantage of Americas taxpayers, it is not right.

However, these people have little chance to evolve in their own country, they are desperate to make a better life.

Please!! Mexico is part of "this continent".

Fact: Mexico has more natural resources than almost any other country on earth.

Fact: Mexico has the ability and the resources to become a major economic player on the worlds market

So, "these people" can "evolve" their own country -

Mach50:

Yet the brunet Mexicans (I am leaving the rest of the Hispanics out for simplicity) are indeed evolving; their birthrate is tumbling down to replacement levels, I call that taking personal responsibility.

The education of the Mestizos is improving, again, personal responsibility on their part.

To be frank: looking at recent Italian and Spanish history; I really feel that Mexico is fast approaching its 'tipping point' from poverty to affluence.

Not so terribly long ago; the above Southern Europeans went to Germany, etc to work-----now, it is not unusual for Germans to work in Italy and Spain.

Maybe if the paisanos had to demand their rights SOB; the elite will have to listen.

What does bother me SOB is there are labor shortages yet the powers-to-be claim not to have the $$$ to pay decent wages.

In closing; your question is a tough one to answer.

Mexico's "Spaniard Elite" - this is a clue Mach50, it is MEXICO's "Spaniard Elite", not ours and not our problem. There has to be groups out there that is addressing this issue, Mexican groups. If this is an issue for you why don't you do some research to see if enough of you can get together and maybe make changes in Mexico? Try the Zapatista Front of National Liberation.

Americans came together in record numbers to fight against all the amnesty bills. Why are people like you coming to Americans for Mexico's problems. Don't you think you should register your complaints with Mexico?

I cannot believe your statements Can they really help themselves though?. While you are on this forum all the time defending illegal immigration you make mexicans out to be less than worthless. Do you think it helps to portray them like they do not have what it takes to help themselves? Smile in their face while stabbing them in the back? Which is it?

A good part of the reason Mexico's government has been able to continue their corrupt practices is because the US serves as a pressure relief valve for them. They are permitted to export their 'problem' (impoverished citizens with a dismal standard of living) to us. We have allowed the Mexican gov. to get away with this for far too long. If Mexican citizens in the US were returned, their gov. would be forced to deal with millions of very unhappy people. IMO, change in Mexico will not occur until this happens. And yes, there probably will be bloodshed. Major political upsets in Third World countries typically do not occur in a calm and orderly fashion. And this, my friend, is where the rubber meets the road. Are Mexican citizens willing to risk injury or loss of life in order to reclaim their country?

Does anyone really care? I don't!! This crap about the Mexicans telling the Whites go go back to Europe, and we are 'squatting' on Mexican property is outrageously RIDICULOUS! The United States bought and paid for with GOLD all of Louisana, Texas, California and many other parcels of property. Let them go ask THEIR government where that money went from the land sale!

The 'poor little immigrant' syndrome needs to get stamped out in this country. They shouldn't be here, and if they don't like their conditions back in Mexico, they should gather together and oust their government and do something for themselves.

The United States is a "quick fix" for Mexico's problems. If we continue to allow Mexico to export their unemployed to us, then as already being witnessed, Mexico's problems become our problems. While it is neighborly to support Mexico in resolving their issues, it is ludicrous to be expected to take their problems from them or solve their problems for them. Only Mexico and Mexicans can fix thier problems. We also need to fix our problems, including the problem of massive numbers of illegal aliens. So, what happens to them when we ship them back? They come back here. This is a cycle that we need to fix.
