Pretty much. When one group of people moves in and in very large numbers and they keep coming and coming but have no intention of learning the language or the culture or assimilating, that's what it is - a take over.

It's the reason why your own country has immigration laws and you don't see a lot of Mexicans out protesting against them in their own streets. Just our laws they don't like.

And it's not really our government per se, it's the crooked politicians running things now who have long abandoned the people of the USA and were bought out by corporations and foreign powers. The politicians which are working for foreign citizens and putting down American citizens. Of course it's about money, these politicians don't really care about the people of any country, they care about the money that bought them. They are working for the interests of those who get very rich from ultra cheap foreign labor, and of course the easy votes.

Well -- Americans built one. We didn't buld our wonderful nation by fleeing it and abandoning it. We addressed problems in the past by staying and working for change.

You're right. We built it on slave labor, genocide, unjust wars for land, and neo-colonialism.

Look at the black Civil Rights movement. Yes, things were unfair but did they flee? Did they run? No, they took a stand and worked to change hearts, attitudes and the culture. They didn't run to another country and demand their rights, they stayed in their own country and worked for change.

That's not all of the story. In fact, many did run to other nations. Regardless of this...it's not AT ALL the same parallel. This is an apples to oranges comparison.

When an illegal makes it over the border and insists he must be allowed to stay because things aren't perfect in his country, what does that say? Does that mean everyone from that country must do the same? The illegal obviously hit the jackpot and will have life on easy street but what of all the others left behind? Nothing improved, nothing changed.

I have no idea where you are going with this paragraph. This entire post is nonsensical, doesn't address the reality of what is going on, and frankly shows a superficial understanding of illegal immigration.

Not even close to reality.

Only with a welfare system where women are basically paid to pop out kids.

This is a great myth that doesn't exist. If this were true, then there would not be nearly as many poor families.

Poor nations are often poor because all people do is have children they cannot feed and they start having the while very young instead of staying in school and learning skills.

No. This doesn't address the various economic, social, and political factors. Again, the more children you have if you are extremely poor, the better your outcome. More children means more workers (more output and resources). Less children means less help and less income. In many poor regions of the world, there simply is no educational infrastructure.

If having many many children is so they'll be better off, then why are so many crossing the border insisting they must stay because they can't feed their many children they chose to have if they return home?

Again please read the posts.

No - poor people don't get rich by having 12-15 kids each. That's why they're poor in the first place.

I take it you don't have much experience in the third world...if you did, you wouldn't make such a simplistic argument.

In Mexico if someone chooses to start reproducing at age 15 or 16 and never completed school, they don't have a lot of chance to be rich no matter how large they make their family. If they finish school, start working, marry and have a couple of children at around age 26 or 27, they will almost surely be middle class. Not only that, they won't be found hiking through an aird desert for 6 days, they will be middle class in their own country.

If you are poor in an area without an educational infrastructure, your best bet is to have children in order to have increased support. You are approaching this from purely a middle class American standpoint. You obviously don't understand the other narratives involved in this debate. I suggest you learn a little more concerning other cultures (specifically a 3rd world perspective or even pre-industrial perspective).

Another reason why so many Americans have lost compassion toward illegal alienss in this country. Arrogance toward a country they want to embrace them.
