In the Palestinian communities of the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Israel, and Jordan, women are executed in their homes, in open fields, and occasionally in public, sometimes before crowds of cheering onlookers. Honor killings account for virtually all of the murders of Palestinian women in these areas. As many as 133 women were killed in the city of Basra alone in 2006 -- 79 for violation of "Islamic teachings"

There are more than 5,000 honor killings per year world wide, mostly by those of the Muslim faith.

Honor is everything," says Ahmed, a 52-year-old Palestinian Muslim. "If a person loses his honor, he becomes like an animal." The significance of honor among Muslims is complex, especially when compared to Western standards, but in the high-context, collectivist cultures of Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, the inappropriate behavior of relatives brings shame to everyone in the extended family.

Don't even think about turning this around...Christians do not commit honor killings or the female genital mutilations that are widely practiced in your country of Egypt and elsewhere in the Muslim world.
My question to you is do you think these things are acceptable as a Muslim, or as a human being?

Egypt has one of the highest FGM rates in the world. According to a 2005 study conducted by UNICEF, 96 percent of women between the ages of 15 to 49 who had ever been married are circumcised. A recent study by the country's Ministry of Health and Population also found that 50.3 percent of girls between the ages of 10 and 18 had been circumcised.

Lev 21:9 And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the *****, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.

So note, if the priests daughter commits a bad sexual act, she is to be burned because of her fathers reputation, because it is against his honor. What will you say now? This is one example of honor killing in the Bible, in fact the act is ordered by the Bible itself.

"And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death. (Exodus 21:17)"
"For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him. (Leviticus 20:9)"

So we have seen 3 examples of honor killings in the Bible, so since you and some Christians always have a problem with honor killings and say Islam is wrong because of some Muslims who commit this act, then the Bible is also wrong for allowing honor killings

untill now i challanged you to bring for me even one verse or one hadeeth from islamic teaching which encourages honor killing but you cant !!

my brother you need to deal with your own relegion before coming here and blaming me for bad moslems's behaviours

Uh, I am not a Christian. I believe in no gods. In any case the old testament verse you quoted has been left behind, and not acted upon for generations, but honor killings and female mutilations continue to be condoned in Islam and in are occurring around the world.

Your challenge is to either defend the practice or refute it, not to deflect my questions.
