Wow OP maybe it is a godsend you didn't get the job. Imagine if they are this difficult in the hiring process what it must be like to work there. Count your blessings and walk away with a smile. It amazes me that employers put applicants through the wringer trying to get hired and then complain to the authorities that no one is qualified for their job openings.

Yes both positions because same hr chick. here is the e-mail:Thank you for your interest in ....... position. We did try to complete your references but were unable to obtain sufficient references in order to continue in the process. We have decided to move forward with another candidate for this position.

Our reference requirements are the same for any position within the network so at this point we would not be considering you for any other positions.

hr chick said that i passed the qualifications but not the reference check LOL!
