I was kind of frustrated on the phone but I wasn't rude. She said that she was frustrated and she understand my frustration. She said HR person works only Mondays and Tuesdays but still!!!! (I didn't say that but you know what I mean). It only takes a few minutes to call my references also she didn't update administrator what's going on after nasty letter.

The suspense is killing me so I can only imagine what it's doing to you.

Now the weekend is upon us so, if you haven't heard anything, then I guess you'll have to sit back and wait for Monday to roll around and see what happens when HR comes back into work. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

And what should I do if I don't hear back on Monday?

Not much you can do at this point especially since you have been in contact with the administrator. Anymore contact will have you looking like a pest so I think you should just see what happens this week and start looking for other opportunities. Actually I would just wait to see if you are contacted by Dec 29th and if not then you will have your answer.

Of what significance is December 29?

Katalin, you said that Monday and Tuesday were the only two days when HR works? Worst case scenario, bite the bullet until Tuesday and then call again. Not much else you can do at this point. Cheers!

So should I call Tuesday morning? And what would be the best way to ask, and what should I ask? I mean I know what to ask but I would like to use different words than last time. Thanks.
