Marylanders: D.C. or Baltimore? (to live, costs, nightlife)

This is going to Swing D.C.s way because D.C. Metro is huge and idk if you've noticed D.C. Metro residents FLOOD this form. Me Im a Baltimorean and I say Bmore all day, but i believe Atlanta and Philly will put both to shame!!!

Nope. Atlanta and Philly are nice. I like Philly especially. But they are not at the level of D.C.

D.C.s sense of superiority is it's number one weAkness, Can you explain to me how in any way D.C. Compares to Philly and Atlanta, and it's not even better than Bmore, d.c. Moved to prince georges county.....it's a transient urban-suburb these days

I was born and raised in Baltimore City and County, but grew up in the DC area. I like both cities for different reasons but would rather reside in the DC area which is where I'm currently living in. Baltimore Suburbs is a nice area. As for the cities, I wouldn't live in either but DC would come close. However, the Grand Prix this weekend was the best time I ever had in Baltimore (and I'm a big gearhead). IMO, this event made Baltimore City such a nice place to be. There were parties in the boats, restaurants, hotels... it felt so vibrant.

I think D.C. is overall better than Philly or Atlanta because there are more things to see and do in D.C. And the city's attractions are better, IMO.

For visiting: DC. For living: Baltimore. DC has fantastic public transit; probably one of the best systems in the country. DC also has a ton of free museums and lots of shopping opportunities. DC is very expensive and owning a car adds to the trouble with parking and ugly traffic.
Baltimore has some great neighborhoods that are more affordable and linked by pretty good walking. It has a lot more retail than it did a few years ago. Although not having as many museums as DC, it does have my favorite in the area: The Visionary Art Museum. It has better waterfront access and enjoyment. A home in one of Baltimore's better neighorhoods is equal in cost to a studio apartment in DC.

The difference is functionality...u may think bmore is better cool but is it really functioning at an optimal level from a management perspective...
