I though my post was quite informative. A couple very good links to real articles about folks in Mankato being Drunk and having the clap. I could tell you how I was propositioned by a college cutey on my front porch one day, that might prove informative. ( boosted my ego let me tell you!) What does the OP want? the best stores in town? the places to avoid at night?

What do you expect from such an open-ended question such as "what are the people like" though? As compared to what? It's a small city with a lot of the populace and jobs based around colleges and the service industry like bars, retail, etc. Like the previous poster said, if you had more specific questions, we could probably provide more specific answers.
