Be careful, That dirt might be holding it together.

There are a LOT of Subarus on the roads in Montana. They are the best vehicle since the AMC Eagle AWD cars for the roads around here, especially in the winter.
I know quite a few people who wear Birk SHOES, not sandals, because they have found that the Birk shoes are very good for people who are on their feet a lot.
Actually, Volvo cars are gaining in acceptance, probably due to their safety rating and overall quality.
We drive Jeeps.
But then, we aren't "Native Montanans". But our kids are!
Heh. My wife and I drive a 05 Chev Diesel, and a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Limited with the V-8, a restored 73 International Harvester Scout II with the 304 CID engine and when we want to be "different" we drive a 96 Isuzu Rodeo.

I got one somewhere before it was rebuilt. I'll try and scare it up.

Remember that story back about 30 years, about the rural postman along the Highline who drove an International Harvester? At that time it had over a million miles on it.

Probably only had about 9 people on his route too.

Probably about the case... I vaguely recall his daily route was over 200 miles, and he'd been doing it for several decades.

Don't get involved in politics, are you kidding? Montana needs this guy for GOV, Stan Jones:

YouTube - Libertarian Stan Jones Montana TELLS TRUTH

Can I post a huge Ron Paul sign in my front yard? I notice a lot of Obama bots at political debates in Montana, can't be locals, can it?

YouTube - Bob Barr on the Constitution

I would vote for this guy.

My girlfriend is from Montana and has 31 acres outside of Helena, but still not far from town. It's perfect, no electric bill, no rent, and peaceful. See my pictures. I found locals to be really nice folks. I love Montana!

If a city person moves next to me I'm going to treat them with kindness and respect just like I would anyone else. I just don't get all the hate we throw at them.

The nations population has been on a steady rise for a long long time, all these new people need somewhere to live. Montana people move to other states with a certain background and set of ideas, and folks from other states with their background and ideas move here. If you are a person with kids then you have contributed to this population problem that we are experiencing.

Now to be honest, I don't like folks moving in then ******ing about the smell of the dairy, or complaining about deer hunting or something; I also don't like it when I'm out on a young horse and people drive close to me going way too fast, but I understand that its normally just a matter of these new folks not knowing the local rules and customs. It takes time to adjust, I think we all just need to be open minded and not worry about whether or not people come here wearing berkinstocks, or driving Volvos and drinking $4 dollar a cup coffee. I just don't care about these things.
Well, you can't always judge! I bought a 1990 old volvo for the grand total of $468 two yrs ago. Since sold it, and want to buy a horse! I seriously prefer getting around that way, or biking.
