And since we have so many professional type jobs here with several high profile corporations being here (HCA, Nissan, etc) it helps in that department as well. Several areas of town that singles tend to congregate are the Gulch, 12South, East Nashville, and West End/Hillsboro Village.

As Countrygirl said...who knows if Mr. Right is here, but you should be able to find a good selection here.
I'm single guy!, I'm interested in getting to know your single friends!

I'll be vacationing in Nashville in a few weeks. I am single and looking to mingle. If we hit it off you can come to PA with me, or eventually I'll come back to you. Or we will just have a fling and move on. Although we could be fb friends.

My trainer, who is 31 and, well, built like a personal trainer was complaining about this the other day.

She is a few months out of a long-term relationship, and she said there seem to be WAY more single women here her age than men.

She also says she's too picky, though, so not sure if she's just automatically eliminating large numbers of men or if there truly is a shortage.

She's a New Jersey native who's lived here a couple years, doesn't have a very strong Jersey accent LOL, works a second part-time job and goes out fairly often. So she is interacting and not going from work to home every night.

Still, one person's opinion...

I've been through Nashville many times and never considered stopping. Perhaps I should consider stopping and see what Nashville is like. I'm single guy in my 30's, no baggage, no kids, never been married. I travel to see immediate family in Georgia sometimes. Originally from upper midwest. I know Nashville is a melting pot. The same is definitely true of Atlanta. I've been out a number of times in Atlanta and use to live in the suburbs of Atlanta, but never Nashville. Great thread though. Even if it started seven years ago.

This is one of the main reasons I'm contemplating leaving Nashville. I'm a 30 yr old single woman and single women far outnumber single men in this city. By a significant amount. And if you are looking for a single PROFESSIONAL 30-something man? Forget about that. Unfortunately, this is the reality in most of the South as a whole because people get married much younger here. Hence why I'm contemplating a move out west... Or better yet, out of the country...

Enjoy living out of the country. The entire population of Western Europe is less than the USA. Good luck with those numbers. Canada has 30 million for the whole country. Good luck trying to get in.

I think you'll like Denver. My brother lived there for about 15 yrs, and I visited often.

I have a couple of friends who live in Denver and rave about it. It’s definitely something I’m working towards.
