how do the numbers factor in? do they start with #1? im confused at what the log numbers mean...
As I understand it from a previous poster who asked this question during an interview; the log number is the number you are given in the lottery BUT this is not taken into account until people with prefences(disability, same area, etc) occupy 50% of the units. After that the remaining units are filled by going up the log #s in order to weed out those that don't qualify until all units are filled. If you live in the area you have a VERY big advantage-no matter how high your log # is.
Did you have the same deadline? If so do you have a disability or do you live in the area or neither?
No timeframe here, was just told to wait for a letter for the next step, which I assume is the interview if our income is within the guidelines. I will let you know as soon as I receive anything.
i also applied and have not heard anything back yet. however i applied to the maple mesa apartments in the bronx and have an interview on the 5th..
hope you hear good news!
