O I'm going to appeal tomorrow. I'm so baffled how they could of calculated my income. How does 33500 turn to 40,000. I don't see 40,000 on my w2, my paycheck nothing. I'm so highly pissed n irritated n upset.

So sorry about that Latashaw. DEFINITELY appeal for something like income calculation. Did they do some strange income projection based on overtime you may have gotten recently? I hope you win your appeal. For what it's worth, when they wrote my income down on the forms they sent to HPC they listed my income a few thousand dollars higher than what I made, which made no sense to me too, but I still fell within the gaps. I really don't know how they came up with that figure since I didn't make anywhere near that (at least by 3 thousand dollars). I didn't question it though, but if I was rejected BECAUSE of that, I totally would have.

Yeah, are you hourly or salary? Bonuses? Self employed? Projected income for next year can be a tricky calculation for them. But your log number is the lowest I've seen so I'm pretty surprised.

I'm waiting to see tomorrow how they did it. Cause I don't get overtime at my job n we rarely get raises. I work for a non profit. We get raises ever 4 years. So for them to be off by 6000 dollars is amazing to me.

Also, for anyone who is NOT in any other lotteries with with this same management company and you have been rejected with a low shot of anything off the waiting list, I would highly suggest asking to pick up your files and or request that they shred them. The kinds of information we provide these third party management companies are like Christmas for identity thieves (not that I think anyone that works there would do such, but there are a LOT of people in that office all the time and it's a bit of a zoo and nothing looked locked up to me in my times there!) The only thing that keeps anyone from our info is a photocopied 8 x 10 inch piece of paper taped to a filing cabinet in the front of the office that says "do not go beyond this point" or something like that. That is troublesome, but I had nothing but positive things to say about anyone I interacted with there. And I am still hoping I get a good log number for 6th avenue that they are managing!

Strange. Good luck to you. Are you a single person going for a studio?
