MHANY is open. I just received a reply email

"Letters will be sent out when the project is complete, however your log number has been placed on a wait list. So if an apartment becomes vacant in your income bracket and apartment size, we go to the applicants on the wait list next."

They asked me to bring a letter from my job also and then did a job verification form also. I'm like such redundancy. Everything is done twice and checked a thousand times.

Boerum,

Did you send an email requesting a status update or they just sent you an email saying that you are on a wait list?

I've sent numerous emails bit I haven't received any status updates. I've call and all I'm told is to email. Very frustrating!

Interesting, I'm usually able to speak to them over the phone. Last time I called they told me they will be contacting me shortly and two days later I received an email to come in and resubmit documents. It's been a week. Do you think it's too early to call them again. LOL

You're better off going in person. Make yourself known.

Do you know their schedule?? It's just so hard for me because of work and I work very far from them. But I'm going to leave early next week if I still don't have answers.

8am to 5:30pm everyday.. 3:30 on some days, which I believe is a Tuesday and Friday, 5:30pm is the last intake or what type of interview is needed on the other days, but they usually stay til later til at least 7pm. I know daily life is a struggle to deal with this, but if you really want to fight to get an apartment or know what's going on... I suggest to make some time out of your work life to make yourself known and get something out of it... This is what I did and here I am about to move in a week. I live about an hour away where they are and I still did it.
