No, it doesn't work like that. There's no options, no picking -- not in any lottery. BG will show you the unit that is assigned to you and when you are approved you can accept that unit or not, but you can't choose something else.
I do believe it depends who you get assigned to, because my 1st lottery at BG my intake person was wonderful and she did ask me what I would I prefer and this lottery at BG this intake person was the complete opposite his attitude made me believe that I was going to be denied. I prayed
and stayed cool hence the name coolbrezze. Lol
Of course Channies, you have passed everything.. all you need to do is be patient and wait, which is amazing.. Us however havent heard anything since July.. only that there were no 2 bedrooms available. Not the we were approved by BG, not about papers being sent to HPD.. nothing NADA! Haha but also very optimistic and hopeful. I dont care what apartment we get, I dont care if its in the lobby.. haha! Have a great weekend everyone and pray that everything starts moving again.
The building has yet to call me and its been two weeks since HPD approved me. Praying I will get a call next week.
