I also think that after viewing they give you a date as when you need to have it. Once the lease is signed and give them the money orders, you get your KEYS and you are in!!!!

Ugh, seriously? That is so annoying. Why can't they take a check? They have all my checking account statements!

I am just going by others who have gotten leases in other buildings. You may be able to give a check. We’ll get info when we reach that point, which I hope is soon.

All I can tell you is that it is not going to happen overnight. Get comfortable it could a long journey. Most of us on the blog received acceptances in April. And you can’t rush the process. Hopefully for your sake it will move faster. The saving grace for us old timers is that we have received all the approvals and have been issued our unit#. So we are able to exhale (so to speak) When were you interviewed? Good Luck!
Yea, I'm getting comfy :/ I had my interview second week of October and it was accepted at the round table that week, then sent to leasing by the end of the following week. So far that's as far as I've gotten.

Yup! They told me NO PERSONAL CHECKS! A bank check or money order for your first month and security is what they accept. I do pay my rent now with personal checks however.

Believe me, I know, lol. I had to get 3 checks, 1 for 1st month, 1 for security and 1 for a pet fee! Not sure why I couldn't give them 1 check for it all?! I believe they asked for separate checks.
