Oh, my interview was in MARCH! I meant an appointment for a viewing. Obviously, I don't know for sure, but I think things are working pretty fast at this point. *knock on wood*

I wonder how many are viewing this week and how many have been approved to date. I guess the move- in will be staggered because I can’t vision everyone moving in at the same time. Will everyone be in by the holidays? How about a hold celebration?

I would imagine staggering move-ins. It's an easier transition. I'm passing by tomorrow to check out to see if I can peep into the front! Must be accessible now that ya'll have viewings next week.

They're pretty much done with the side glass walls from what I've seen after bringing down the elevator but the glass part is the market rate units from what I understand. The bottom stone facade part of the building is the affordable part and I haven't been able to tell is they are done with that or still under construction in there. I just can't wait for you all to have your units and have them open up the streets so I don't have to bike on 11th Ave anymore, lol!

That can't be right, because then that would be illegal. According to the marketing handbook, low and middle rate income are *supposed* to be scattered around the building. So it's possible for a 50%AMI person to be in a penthouse, quite honestly.

Its definitely two different buildings. We "low/middle income" are the stone faced building. The market rate building is the glass one. And i know many "low/middle income" residents that are scattered within their building, but def no penthouse. They wouldn't give that up...They'd lose too much potential $.

its 2 separate buildings stuck together - thats why they were calling this one a "poor door" building. this development and a few others got away with this through a loophole in the law, but its been changed now. when affordable apartments are mixed in they are scattered throughout but only up to a certain floor, so an affordable apartment would never be the penthouse, unfortunately lol
