Yep. The removal of ultimate/cost-effective penalties like death penalty may only work with societies at a high level of civilization, but the U.S. as a country does not seem to reach that level yet. The lack of death penalty somehow indulges the growth of extreme criminal activities and causes a growing burden to the entire society that suffers from malicious criminal acts while having to carry these cruel/counter-productive criminals forward. Just sad.

So you're suggesting attempted murder should carry the death penalty? No state does that.

As Sideshow Bob said:

I am presently incarcerated, imprisoned for a crime I did not even commit. "Attempted murder," now honestly, did they ever give anyone a Nobel prize for "attempted chemistry?"

So, our votes help create the conditions for this man to go out and cause havoc?

You seem to know more about this, please do tell us more.

As I said before, I do not believe that those who kill or attempt to kill innocent human beings (or rape or sexually involve themselves with children in any way) deserve to continue living amongst us.

I never implied that innocent people should be punished as your Simpson quote seems to imply.

I don't vote for liberals. Not much more to tell. If you vote for liberals, enjoy the sympathy, apologist policies, and attempts at understanding that come along with your votes. I prefer incarcerated criminals and can not careless about their feelings or emotions. If they'd kill, rob or rape my family, I want them dead, period.

(Yes, death for robbery is wishful thinking. I know America will never see that.)

Yep, just stop and frisk people who don't look like him

Can't hurt his feelings, now, can we?

Your saying, if we institute the death penalty, the Daniel Hurberts of the world would cease their psychotic lust for death and mayhem? Somehow, they would never kill again because the fear of death awaits them from the moment they kill someone.

Uh-huh.

Maybe, this is just me talking, but maybe we should focus on WHY people like Daniel Hurberts are given lenient sentences for serious charges and why the system doesn't keep track of people who are violent offenders especially those with severe mental health issues and monitor their whereabouts?

I'm actually quite calm. Does one need to humanize animals to be calm? What a strange world some people live in. What is it like to "care" about animals such as can stab and murder children? Those who don't want animals like this one dead fascinate me. Born victims.
