Perdue gains nothing by holding out for 10 days. She is not going to win the 5 Dem's back because they were promised items in the budget for the counties they represent.

I certainly didn't think an executive order to restore the benefits was possible. I guess that solves the whole theory that Bev was powerless at the hands of the evil republicans. She could've played this card from the start had she actually given a flying you know what about the unemployed. But now, she pulls this card when it's politically convenient for her and her party.

Ugh...despicable.

Agree 100% , she looks desperate right now. Is this her ACE in the Hole card that she maybe has been saving?

Either way folks, something will be done for us by next week. She has "committed" herself by issuing that statement and the re pubs will have to out do her. It is a win for us I would say.

I just called the ESC and they haven't received anything. They are waiting on a "bulletin" from her office.
