From Berger's twitter:
Gov's K-12 budget: $7.49B. Our K-12 budget: $7.46B. Safe to say gov's reaction has been a bit extreme

To me that seems like a compromise right up the middle. If this by some chance is not resolved by next Wed, we need to camp out at the Gov mansion. I am serious.

Gotta follow the money. Or ignore the folks who have none.

Here's an article on the money ($1.7mill in campaign $$) behind Perdue

NCAE: Looking Out For Children, Members, or Itself? - Civitas Institute

Just like typical politics, services rendered to the highest bidder.

NEA and NCAE contributed $1.8 million to help Bev Perdue win the 2008 Governor’s race.
NEA spent another $1.7 million on campaign ads for Bev Perdue

That was informative. I guess it isn't so much for the kids and unemployed people can't contribute much so they are last on matters of importance. They should know we have nothing to do but look up facts.Idle hands are not good.
