I can recall a time as a youngster having a summer house in Pike County where the snow was so high and beautiful. Although the winters have been milder since then, some predict a very snowy winter. The best part of living here is when you can enjoy the winter wonderland without having to worry about driving in it!

Wow..........That is so interesting to hear. After hundreds of shovels of snow since I was little. Some snowfalls were 5 /6 feet high in drifts........
You will love it when the snow keeps falling, and the Christmas lights are all aglow. Find a good sled.........
Actually my yard is great for sledding. The kids come here, light a fire in the fireplace........go sledding and drink hot chocolate by the tons........

I love the snow. I was outside decorating on Friday and I saw my first flakes for this season. I have been down in Florida for 7 years and was sure glad to see the white stuff falling down. It really makes you feel in the Christmas spirit. Sorry, but I would rather have the snow than all the sun and heat everyday. The change of seasons are the best
