OCU is IVY league-ish in its appearance. I have heard that comment about OU's campus in the past, and now you can include OCU on that list. HT, thank you so much for the nice photographs. These are great. Please keep up the great work; we all love to hear from you.

OCU is nice but McDaniel (President of U) would hire you with a big salary, on the spot, if you told him that!Happy New Year!

OCU campus is very beautiful, and it is a great school too. The metro area has so many opportunities for higher education it is amazing.

Thanks for the great pics, HT. Looking forward to Little Saigon pics.

I have seen those churches. One I used to use their parking lot as a shortcut. It is so nice to revisit everything by way of your pics.

Thanks Peggy, I will post some today. I would like to capture the New Year celebrations in the Little Saigon district. The celebrations are incredible considering your in Oklahoma! The church is across the street from Kamps. I worked for Kamps for a while and the owners told me that they are going to sale the grocery store when OCU expands towards 23rd street. Thats bad because Kamps has a lot of history.

Neat. That market is really big and looks to be well kept. We have several Asian markets in the mid-cities area of DFW (mostly Korean) and since my wife is Japanese she shops their frequently. I'm sure if we lived up there she would frequent the little saigon area. Thanks for the pics HT.

Is the Casa Bonita in OKC still doing business? In the late 1960's and during the 1970's I always visited in when I was in town. The older Mexican gentleman that strolled through the dining area and played his guitar was one of the attractions to me. He would sit at our table if he had a break coming and he always had fantastic stories.

Great photos of the Metro, Happy. Great clarity on those shots, too. My favorites are downtown and the areas around the Capitol building. Got to love those oil derricks!
