LOL! I can actually hear the fear and desperation in the GOP voices.

What did you expect? Did you think that middle class workers would just lay down and take it because you wanted to cut taxes for the rich?

The recalls will be brutal for the Wisconsin GOP and November will be brutal for the GOP nationwide.

I don't think you people are getting it. This bill will affect all public employees, not just teachers. So, you know, there are more than just teachers at these protests.

It's not like we don't have examples of private schools or organizations that do social work. Maybe the governor should look into being the first state to contract out, education, and issue school vouchers.
There is nothing intrinsically wrong with public schools. It is wrong for teachers to strike. They should teach.

Even FDR, a major friend of unions, felt public employees should not be unionized. This is one issue in which I agree with FDR.

On top of that if you see the signs and language on the signs...how on earth can that be an example for our students?

I know for sure if it would be the other way around the students would be at suspended for using this language!

We should all ask the people in charge to do what Ronald Reagan did back in the days and every one who doesn't show up in class to teach...fire them!

that will solve the unemployment rate faster...
I'm fine with that. However if you want accountability, apply it to both sides.

Parents who pull their kids out of school for vacations/trips get fined. They're wasting taxpayer dollars as well because the teacher has to play catchup with them. I've seen it happen with plenty of kids. Those parents are teaching kids a bad example as well.

Perhaps, but those folks were elected for a reason.

Actually I believe we do "get it." The unions have decimated manufacturing in this country. They could do the same with the taxpayers if they are left unchallenged. It's time to address this issue.

Pretty funny, the unions are getting their butts kicked and the good guys are winning big time, and you see fear and desperation..? You seriously need a reality check. Are you not paying attention and just relying on your dreams..?
This is just the first strike, the unions will fall state by state and America will be saved. Get used to it, the unions are finished..!
...but you go back to sleep and finish your dream, because when you awake and see the truth, you will not be happy...
