I think another way to look at the topic could be, Young Black Males most likely to be killed in this country.
Statistically, we are. Maybe a better question would be why. There's not some epidemic of black people killing white people. There's just high rates of violence in certain black neighborhoods. Gunshots are nothing.
Nothing new though. Been going on a few decades now since the Ronald Reagan era.
check the fbi's most wanted list. Check texas' most wanted list. 99% of the hispanics listed are listed as "white." whites do not commit nearly the other half of murders in the us. I'd be shocked if it was even 15-20%.
This thread is silly. Crime happens all across the board. It's poverty that creates crime or it's class or situation that influences the type of crime.
Overall though whites committ the most crimes, but no one is going to single out or stereotype white people as criminals. Most ppl on welfare are WHITES as well.
So ppl need to stop singling out blacks or any race as being criminals.
At the end of the day a human is a human. Any human should be held to the same standard or handled accordingly when it comes to accountability for a crime.

By sheer numbers, yes, there are more white people on welfare and committing more crimes. Per capita, however, that is not the case. We will note, however, that both murder in general and poverty and welfare use for black people has been on a steady decline for decades now.
One must look to per capita to identify statistical anomaly. Black murders are typically from an inner city gang culture environment that is disaffected and poverty stricken, and involved in crime in general. (Not that I buy poverty as an excuse, since poverty explains theft at the most, maybe selling drugs, but not murder.)
Attacking the gang culture - the way mobsters were attacked in the 1920s - 1930s (and yes, for which Italian Americans were and continue to be stereotyped decades later) is the best way to eliminate the culture of murder IMO.
I just think black inner city culture gets a double whammy... already American culture is death, gun and murder obsessed, so add to it the ignorance of the ghetto and literally powerless young men trying desperately for some inkling of self validation and power themselves, and it's a recipe for disaster.
They only kill their own associates, if necessary.
People still get killed though. And it would not surprise me if someone got killed for informing on them. And I'm not talking about the members of the mafia. I'm talking about the civilians.
