Hooker? How is he "phoney"? He is a scientist. He has his PHD. He published a peer reviewed study recently in a medical journal. Do you think he's "phoney" because his point of view in regards to vaccines does not match yours? Please explain further. I'm not going to take your word for it.

What do chemtrails have to do with this?
Workinclasshero, I guess you aren't capable of expanding on your "phony" accusations. Kind of what I thought. A lot of "tough talk" with very little substance to back it up.

uhm

ok lets start from the beginning

1. the topic states "CNN coverup"....whch is UNTRUE...CNN didn't coverup anything
2. the op states CDC covered upp...which again is untrue

3. op states that Thompson is a 'whistleblower'....again untrue....Thomson (a true scientist) stated that ONE small thing was left out of the results...that one small thing changes NOTHING in the results...and Thompson CLEARLY STATES THAT HE BELIEVES VACCINATIONS (TO INCLUDE MMR) ARE ALL SAFE

4. hooker who is a PHD NOT, in vaccinations, epidemiology, or genetics has been pushing this anti-vax garbage along with the other guy for years.........
............and EVERYTIME something is posted by the anti-vax people YOU missterri fall for it hook, line and sinker.......which btw means you have a natural bias against vaccinations or you are a conspiracy theorist...and since you have posted in the other conspiracy threads I believe the latter to be the fact

autism is genetic....that is fact

can a vaccination, or something in the environment TRIGGER that genetic problem, or anyother of a multitude of problems..certainly...but it is not the vaccinations fault for a genetic defect

do you remember your aluminum kick...where you accused people of lying?....back in January

Aluminium is the third most abundant element (after oxygen and silicon), and the most abundant metal, in the Earth's crust. It makes up about 8% by weight of the Earth's solid surface. It is always found combined with other elements such as oxygen, silicon, and fluorine. Aluminum metal is silver-white and flexible. It is often used in cooking utensils, containers, appliances, and building materials. It is also used in paints and fireworks; to produce glass, rubber, and ceramics; and in consumer products such as antacids, astringents, buffered aspirin, food additives, and antiperspirants.

Everyone is exposed to aluminum from food, air, and water.

Due to certain additives, processed cheese and cornbread are two major contributors to high aluminum exposures in the American diet.

PLUS:

Aluminum hydroxide......Aluminum and its salts are found in varying amounts in nearly all foods

It has been esablished that the daily aluminum intake for man from all dietary sources can range from 30 to 100 mg per day and that of this amount, the intake from aluminum compounds added to food may average about 20 mg per day, about 75 percent of which is in the form of sodium aluminum phosphate.

btw...have a beer from a can.....that beer now has aluminum in it

or are you going to deny , that you are an anti-vaxer

Thompson waited 10 years to express his concerns of conscience.

Hooker has a PhD in biochemical engineering from a middling university. It is a stretch to call the journal he is published in a "medical" journal. He is "ethically challenged".

Thompson has also commented on a relationship between tics and thimerosal.

They took the first user report down from their website and put it back up only after they received backlash. Did they put it back up due to the backlash or something else? Who knows. It is clear that the mainstream press isn't touching this story with a ten foot pole.

Wrong. Thompson clearly states that statistically significant findings were intentionally omitted fro the results which in turn did change the outcome of the study. Thompson is very much pro-vaccine but he's also honest in noting that vaccinations have risks and that the CDC should be forthcoming with those risks.

I regret that my coauthors and I omitted statistically significant information in our 2004 article published in the journal Pediatrics. The omitted data suggested that African American males who received the MMR vaccine before age 36 months were at increased risk for autism.

My concern has been the decision to omit relevant findings in a particular study for a particular sub group for a particular vaccine. There have always been recognized risks for vaccination and I believe it is the responsibility of the CDC to properly convey the risks associated with receipt of those vaccines.

Hooker is anti vaccine because he has a child who was damaged by vaccines. It seems like a pretty good reason to be anti-vaccine if you ask me.

Evidence shows that autism most likely has a genetic component. But it also most likely has environmental triggers. Vaccinations have not been ruled out as one of many possible genetic triggers. The study to which we are discussing suggests that the timing of the mmr vaccine may trigger autism in African American boys. Since it is being covered up, we may never get the chance to find out if it is indeed a trigger. That is problematic, not to mention, unethical and dangerous.

This is like watching people defend oil companies or banks. Good people, who're just terribly indoctrinated to defend corporate interests.

I agree. It's like some people can't even consider the possibility that this occurred even though one of the scientists (Thompson) has risked everything to clear his conscience and state that it is in fact true. He along with other scientists and higher ups did make the decision to omit statistically significant information which in turn, altered the results of the study. Not many people care that the lie led to false results and potentially harmed young African American children. Not many people seem to care if the CDC is trustworthy. They don't care that the media has failed to properly investigate. It's truly amazing.

Risked everything, my eye (moved up for postability)! He is protected by the Whistelblower Act. He didn't even know (he says) that he was being recorded, and apparently thought his name would not be released. He waits 10 years to clear his conscience? Is he ready to retire now?

Yes, risked everything. Blowing the whistle is a risky thing to do, whistleblower protection act or not. Surely you have seen how whistleblowers have been treated in the past.

Ten years is a long time to wait but better late then never and better then the rest of the people involved who are keeping quiet or denying it occurred despite the evidence.

Finding out the truth should be important considering the impact on public health.

Not sure of the details here, however, there is an increasingly long list of various whistle-blowers who would state otherwise. They can go into great detail about how their lives were ruined for doing so. This has gotten progressively worse from the 80s-90s.
