I prefaced the sheriff comments with "if". You certainly have troubles understanding conditional wordings don't you.

Still, it'd be hilarious if he did sign up. Serious medical problems don't come cheap. The $17k he's got so far thru begging is pocket change compared to final possible costs.

Sorry but you are the one who is misinformed. Maybe you should take the time later and see what Medicaid actually covers, where the money comes from and its limitations.

Thanks for letting us all know that your posts are based only on assumptions.

Conservatives are "bootstrap" rugged individualists. That's so awesome. But when sickness happens, you gotta suck it up and just fight your way thru it. It's how John Wayne would have done it in True Grit.

I just wonder how people like you feel comfortable painting all conservative people with the same brush. Were you gifted wth special insight or are you just generalizing?

Don't you folks know the difference between "rejoice" and laughing at stupidity. I posted it, and here you are, still can't figure it out. Heck yes, its OK to laugh at stupidity, especially when it comes in that caliber.

Seems you also have a comprehension problem that may need attention. Did you actually read what you wrote?

your wrote: "So its ok to rejoice at his stupidity but not the stupidity of those who choose to never better themselves and now demand subsidies?"

You mean like this Sheriff, who chose not to better himself by having insurance, and now needs to be subsidized by regular working folks? Sort of you asking if its OK to laugh at same person twice in the same sentence for the same thing. What's wrong with you?

Don't need special insight. Ordinary common sense will suffice.

It was sarcasm, directed towards those who rant against having any health care insurance, and then finding themselves sick, which is inevitable for all of us, and then passing on the bill to people who work and pay taxes, like myself. And I saw my employer covered healthcare premiums double in 2015, versus what I paid on 2014.

And believe me, I still consider myself lucky. I think the Sheriff, and those who don't have health insurance, are either stupid or irresponsible. But to protest against having health insurance, and then going online to beg for donations?

Well, that's a special kind of stupid.

Good to see your confirm that you are an idealogue and not a person rooted in reality.
