Lol yeah, after you say "delayed maturation is maturation". Not sure how else that was supposed to be taken. Don't consummate until she turns 18? That's "sleazy".
Christianity went through reforms after the dark ages. Islam is still in the dark ages and has never been reformed. Islam does not advocate for a humanist culture and seeks to kill any who do.
What reforms did Christianity go through? Are you referring to the fact that after violently resisting for centuries it finally had to concede defeat to the humanist culture that arose in the 14th century? I find it laughable that some Christians are now trying to take credit for the liberal culture it fought against. America is NOT a Christian nation. If fundamentalist Christians had their way, America would look a lot like Saudi Arabia -- sure, they'd pray to a different imaginary being, but sexual repression, repression of speech and thought and all the rest would be there. No thank you. I oppose Islam extremism for the same reason I oppose Christian extremism. I defend Islamic moderate for the same reason I defend Christian moderates. Freedom, reason and tolerance -- those are my values.

Well a lot of those humanist values that arose during the 14th century and after started from within the church. During the Middle Ages it was the priests and bishops who were doing the lions share of the scholastic work. Many of the men who would help lay the groundwork for the scientific revolution were men of the cloth. Men such as William of Ockham, Jean Buridan, and Nicole Oresme. Also all of the Medieval universities first started out as theology schools. So yes Christianity has gone through many reforms and changes through the decades.
Mmm, no. Just pointing out that muslims don't have an exclusive franchise on saying crazy offensive sh*t.
But they do have the exclusive franchise on DOING crazy violent sh*t.
When was the last time you heard of a Jain beheading people in the name of religion? or a Quaker take part in a honor killing? As of 2016 Islam is by far the largest cause of concern of any religion on earth. Every time its discussed people like you either act as apologist or defer the conversation away from the topic at hand.
Those guys riding around the middle east in the back of pickups with AK-47s?
Real scary.
Wake me up when ISIS hordes are raping women in NYC and LA.
Deal?
