i implore you to learn something about firearms before you post again, since you know little about the subject to begin with. this way you wont embarrass yourself on a continuing basis when you talk about firearms, a subject you know very little about.

The above sentiment is liberal insanity at its best.

The majority of gun crimes in America are committed by those involved in criminal enterprises. It is the a very, very rare event when a "normal" citizen commits a gun crime. In those situations, usually the person is mentally ill.

It is just the hilarious narrative of the libs-

1. Christians are evil- Muslims good

2. All Christians are crazy

3. Only "right wingers" own guns- gangs and criminals do not

4. Only crazy, Christian, right wingers kill people with guns. Muslim jihadists never shoot anyone, nor do any of the gangs in Chicago, Oakland, East St. Louis, Watts, and Philly, thus thier "very low" gun related murder rates.

5. If only guns were banned, then there would be no gun violence. Of course, all of the criminals are law abiding and would never therefore secure guns, as it would be against the law.

Liberals, in their blind hatred of the family, the church, and the middle class, always resort to very strange and peculiar, false explanations to justify their warped agenda.

Also from the same link:

— The National Rifle Association says proposals such as universal background checks for gun buyers won't work and the nation must enforce the laws it has. But lobbying records and interviews show the organization has worked steadily to weaken existing gun laws and the federal agency charged with enforcing them.
NRA actively worked to weaken gun law enforcement

With stories of mothers drowning their children in bathtubs, it's time we ban bathtubs.

We all fear the next terrorist attack will be a man carrying a bathtub to an event where he will drown 50+ people!

I don't fear terrorist attacks, because I'm more likely to be killed in my car on the way to a movie theater to see a film about terrorists attacking.

I also don't fear guns, because if each of the 300 million guns in the US were used just once every ten years to murder someone, we'd have 82,000 people murdered by guns each day.

Any fear should be directed at violent criminals. The left should be pushing to keep them under control instead of trying to take rights away from law abiding citizens.

She probably wouldn't have killed them without a gun. That is the problem with guns. A minor nothing argument suddenly gets amped to 11 because a gun always wins. Maybe they would have tussled but you don't die from that.

Numerous statistics show states with more guns lead to more gun deaths.

I agree.

Guns make it much easier to murder others, and without guns there would be less murders.

However, without guns, more people would have been victims of others.

I can accept more murders, suicides and accidental deaths in order to maintain the freedom of law abiding citizens to have access to them.

On average the states with the highest rates of gun ownership have the lowest murder rates by firearm.
