That might be the case or you could end up both hurt then dead. No one can answer that question because it requires speculating. Unlike most people I know what I'm capable of when facing someone that is armed. I've been in shootouts. I don't have to base what I would do by speculating...
And I'll leave it at that..
Use the most powerful weapon GOD gave you and your words can set you free.
I am not a fan of this flag but I don't agree with firing her. not unless the state of GA makes it illegal to display it on private property.
I hope the moron who fired her gets plenty of E-Mails and phone calls. This is freedom of speech and of course the liberal monsters want to take it away from anyone who doesn't agree with their insanity.
How I feel about the flag is irrelevant, what's relevant is that workers don't have many rights in this country.
She's free to fly the flag, and Roswell, GA is free to fire her for it. Cut-and-dry.
This is correct as the law stands now. However we in dire need of state laws in red state America to protect our right to free speech from being usurped by our employers. Liberals have won the battle when it comes to corporations and other organizations ( the city of Roswell GA in this case). The boycotts and lawsuits were enough to force the employers of America to do the bidding of the SJWs. Conservatives generally are more likely to be working people, and this tool against conservative views and speech has been very effective. It is time for the conservative states to pass tough new laws against those employers who use the political speech or expression as a reason to fire employees. Time to stop these libs where they stand, if people no longer feared the consequences of challenging PC, it would disappear overnight. The left knows this. Some leftie will come on here and tell me "there are consequences of free speech" yada yada yada. Well we can change the state laws and you un-American pinko's wont be able to do anything about that.
In the investigation, he found Cotriss told investigators that, “she didn't see anything wrong with it" and “was unaware the flag had been adopted by neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups."
and police are just not trained in these matters
"as unaware the flag had been adopted by neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups."
When Officer Clark joined his unit, it was made abundantly clear that by accepting the job I would have to give up some of my constitutional rights. Wearing a uniform implies more responsibilities and duties than the average citizen.
Even as a Yankee, I personally have no problem with the Rebel flag, I'm something of a Civil War "buff" myself and have visited the battlefields and museums. I personally love the South and have family living in the South. This police officer would not have caused a problem if she kept it in her home. Flying this flag - a controversial symbol - in public view creates all kinds of problems.

Right! We should BAN ANYTHING ANYONE FEELS IS CONTROVERSIAL.
Where does it end?
The NAACP (The National for the Advancement of COLORED People) is controversial to me.
I did not read the article....but there is probably more to the story than that. She might have demonstrated some subtle racial bias and the flag was the straw the broke the camels back. We need to get certain types of mindsets off the police forces.
Make assumptions much?
