Every. Single. Time.
So, only natural born US citizens can have a DL in Oregon......if so, it is the only State in the nation with such law. In the rest of the nation you do not have to be a citizen to have a DL, let alone a natural born one.

Me thinks you do not know what you are talking about.

Sure enough, I checked at OR DMV site, and you DO NOT need a birth certificate.

How did you prove the BC was yours? It does not have a picture (a picture of a new born baby is useless), it just says someone was born somewhere at some time, so a BC it the worst possible ID out there.

Hmmm... While voting in IL, I did have to sign next to my name on the registered voters list for my election precinct but my signature was never matched to anything.

A certified copy of one's birth certificate is very cheap and it never expires.

In Michigan your signature at the poll is matched to the signature on your voter registration form, which they have on file.

I was born before digital records were kept. I can get a certified copy of my birth certificate from the county of my birth (Cook, in IL) for $15 any time I want. BTW, that's about what a pack of cigs costs in Chicago. You see "poor Black Chicago folk" smoking all the time.
